“My paintings are bursts of energy: my vibrant colours speak of the joy I experience in life”
Zora received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Manitoba in 1977, is a past president of SCA, a charter woman of the Arts and Letters Club, and an elected member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Zora is past Chair of the Art Committee, Arts and Letters Club.
A recent move to a high rise condominium with a view of downtown Toronto is providing fresh inspiration for a series of mixed media/acrylic/collage paintings of the city. At the same time Zora’s love of flowers continues to blossom in paper collage and acrylic on canvas.
Zora has exhibited extensively in Canada and her native Scotland. In May 2005 Zora was invited to show paintings in the First Biennale of Contemporary Art in Arad, Romania. She won the Federation of Canadian Artists Barrie Chadwick Award, Vancouver 2007.
