Margaret Peter is a Guelph painter and printmaker who rejoices in the beauty of nature and the joy and inspiration it brings her. Subject matter includes florals, landscapes and abstracts.
She is chiefly represented by the Barber Gallery and Kloepfer Gallery in Guelph, the Eldon Gallery in Waterloo, Gallery Streetsville, and the Williams Mill Gallery in Glen Williams where she has her painting studio.
Margaret has her Fine Arts degree from the University of Guelph. She was the Printmaking instructor at Wilfrid Laurier University from 1988-2006. She is an elected member of the Ontario Society of Artists (91), and the Society of Canadian artists (90).
She has received numerous awards and her paintings and prints are in private and public collections including the Government of Ontario Art Collection. Two of her works were published in International Artists Magazine.
