Elizabeth's hiking, climbing and skiing expeditions have taken her into remote areas of the Canadian Rockies. Over time, her experiences have inspired her, and made her intimately aware of the magic and beauty that is found in these powerful places. For 15 years, Elizabeth focused on exploring watercolour as a means of expressing her deep affinity for the mountain environment. Most recently, she has become intrigued with oil painting in her pursuit of new and continually challenging ways to share her perceptions.
While being primarily self taught, she attributes much of her success to the valuable influence of the prominent artists with whom she has studied, combining their guidance with her dedication to developing a style of her own.
She is currently represented by Gibson Fine Art in Calgary, AB, The Artym Gallery in Invermere, BC, and The Avens Gallery in Canmore, AB.
