Mary Anne Ludlam, SCA


Mary Anne (Mason) Ludlam, born in Oshawa, graduated with honours from the Ontario College of Art in 1954.
 Winning the prestigious Traveling Scholarship allowed her to study at the Fontainebleau School of Fine Art & Music.  Her six month European visit allowed her to visit galleries, museums and important architectural sites in France, Italy and England.
 She spent the next 20 years as a leading contract designer in Toronto, doing corporate offices, banks, lawyer's offices, medical clinics and clubs. She was the lead designer of head offices for Elizabeth Arden, Toronto Life Magazine, The Toronto Blue Jays, Canadian General Electric (twice), Household Finance, Smith & Stone, North American Life and many others.
 In the late 70's her interests shifted and she became a serious painter using the medium of watercolour.
She has been elected to the CSPWC (life member), NFWS, OSA (life member) and the SCA.
 Her work has appeared in over 75 juried exhibitions and received over 30 awards.
Since the 70's she has presented over 25 solo or two person exhibitions, her work hangs in over 1000 private collections and over 80 corporate ones.
For the past 24 years has been represented by Roberts Gallery in Toronto, Canada's oldest private gallery.
