Peter Dusek, SCA, OSA

Self-taught and only discovering his love of photography in his 40s, drawing from his studies of mathematics, music, computers, and Eastern philosophy, Peter Dusek has exploded into the international art world in just a few years, as a minimalist black and white photographer.

Peter is represented by Abbozzo Gallery in Toronto, where his first solo exhibition, “Tranquility”, sold out two and a quarter times over, with Saks Fifth Avenue from New York acquiring two complete sets to represent Canadian Art at their new stores in Toronto. His work has been shown at the Affordable Art Fair in New York by Abbozzo Gallery, alongside 70 international galleries.

Peter has exhibited with the Society of Canadian Artists and the Ontario Society of Artists and his work is held in private and corporate collections throughout North America.

Peter was elected to the Ontario Society of Artists in 2015 and is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Etobicoke. Peter lives in Hockley Valley, Ontario, exploring the countryside by car, motorcycle, bicycle, or on foot, often accompanied by his dog, Daisy. His frequent excursions give him a deep familiarity and affinity with some of Ontario’s most beautiful lands.
