Keith Campbell, SCA

The Board of the North Bay and Area Potters Guild bestowed/honoured me with a Lifetime Membership in the Guild. Craft Ontario has nominated keith for the 2016 Saidye Bronfman Award in Craft (now a Governor General's Award).Keith was chosen as one of six finalists in the prestigious Premier's Award for Excellence in the Arts for 2014 (he was also a finalist in 2010) He received a Life Time Achievement Award for the Arts from CBACH(Coodinating Body Arts Culture Heritage) . He was inducted into The Niagara Falls Arts and Culture Wall of Fame (2013). Keith is a nationally recognized Award winning Ceramic Artist who has exhibited his works in 290 exhibitions nationally and internationally. Keith has received 57 awards/honours for his works which are in numerous private and permanent collections including the Archives of Ontario, the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Royal Ontario Museum, the Nickle Arts Museum, the Varazdin City Museum, Croatia, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Burlington Art Center, Canadian Clay and Glass Museum & Gallery, Art Gallery of Temiskaming, WKP Kennedy Gallery, Ontario Craft Council, Fusion: The Clay and Glass Association of Ontario, etc. Keith has conducted 53 lecture/workshops across Canada. Keith Campbell's installation work called "TOAST' has a book  called "Art in Canada"written by Jonathon Bancroft-Snell and published by Ronald P. Frye & Company (2013).Keith's work is the subject matter for a new book called "Keith Campbell"written by Jonathon Bancroft Snell and Published by Ronald P. Frye & Company available Aug. 8/14 at Jonathon Bancroft Snell Gallery in London, Ontario.

His works appear in 28 text books published in England, Germany, USA and Canada. Keith was a finalist in the Premier's Award of Excellence in the Arts in 2010. Keith was honoured with the title Artist in Residence Emeritus from Canadore College in 2009.
